Welcome Letter from the National President

Welcome to the official website of the Northeasterners, Inc.! It is my distinct honor to greet you as your National President and to invite you to explore the richness, history, and purpose of our remarkable organization.

Since our founding in 1930, the Northeasterners, Inc. has served as a beacon of resilience, empowerment, and sisterhood. Born during a time of exclusion, our organization created a space where Black women could thrive socially and culturally, forging bonds that would transcend generations. For nearly a century, we have celebrated one another, uplifted our communities, and built a legacy that continues to shine brightly.

This website is a hub for all things Northeasterners—a place where you can stay informed, inspired, and engaged. Whether you are a longtime member or a new sister joining our family, you’ll find resources, updates, and opportunities to participate in the life of our organization. From chapter news to national initiatives, we are committed to keeping our members connected and involved.

As we approach our 100th Celebration in 2030, we are reminded of the importance of reflecting on our past while preparing for an even brighter future. Our Centennial Steering Committee is hard at work planning a celebration worthy of our history and achievements. Together, we will honor the visionary women who laid our foundation and inspire future generations to carry forward their mission of excellence, unity, and purpose.

Beyond the Centennial, the Northeasterners remains deeply committed to fostering meaningful relationships, promoting cultural enrichment, and leaving a positive imprint on the world. Through our collective efforts, we continue to break barriers, build bridges, and stand as a testament to the strength and brilliance of Black women.

I encourage you to explore this site regularly to stay updated on upcoming events, special projects, and opportunities to contribute to our shared legacy. Let us continue to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood that define the Northeasterners, ensuring that our organization remains vibrant, impactful, and deeply relevant for generations to come.

Thank you for being an integral part of this incredible journey. It is a privilege to serve as your National President, and I look forward to celebrating our shared milestones, achievements, and aspirations together.

With sisterly love and unwavering pride,
